Wow, can you believe it is January 10, 2011 and it has been six (6) months since my last post. I think I am a little closer to moving "the Dream" forward! A little closer to manifesting "the Promise"!
This has been a lazy day, the snow prevented to much physical movement, but my mind has been going a mile a minute today. Thankking God for the moments and the memories, praising God for the love and the laughter and looking forward to the promises and possibilities that await me on this journey.
2011 is off to an amazing start, filled with revelation and a few dreams revealed. Friends are moving forward with their dreams and I am excited about being connected to them, because I know I am next in line for my blessing.
Marjon is about to make her debute as she shares her journey with Dr. Oz on National TV. My girl TaMiia is moving on up with BOA and I know there is so much more to come. It is a new day...a new me... a new dream!

The Beginning
So, I was driving home today and all I could think about was "Vision"!
Vision, what does it mean to have a vision, what does it mean if you do not have a vision, just what is vision. In church you hear a lot of people talk about the pastor's vision for the church, in business you hear people talk about the vision for the company and lately you see post all on facebook and twitter about women hosting vision parties and doing dream boarding. But what does it all mean!
I believe that God gives everyone a "vision" for their life, I believe that the vision is a work in progress, I believe that it changes as you change, it grows as you grow but you have to work the vision. It is my belief that you have to acknowledge the giver of the vision you can loose the vision.
We get really excited when the light bulb finally goes off and we realize "the vision", when we realize our assignment, that very thing that we were created to do! What an amazing feeling, we are ready to take on the world. We start writing, planning, and writing even the more.Then we make one fatal move, we share our vision with the wrong people. We share our vision with someone who cannot handle where God is moving us,not to say they are bad people, they are just not ready to handle the energy that we are emitting. Kinda like when you travel to Europe and you want to charge you cell phone, and you are so excited about charging your cell phone because it is dying that you just plug it into the socket and all of a sudden it blows up in your face. It does that because the outlets in Europe were not prepared for the wattage that is emitted from your USA phone charger. We have to begin to use that analogy when we are thinking about sharing our dreams and visions with someone else, check out their capacity. Do they have the capacity receive and nurture the dreams of someone else? Do they share the same energy, passion, compassion? Are they dream makers or dream killers.
Dreamers have to be careful, you have to protect your dream, while moving your dream forward. You have to surround yourself with like minded people, who have your best interest at heart. You do this so that you do not get tired, frustrated the last thing that you want to do is loose focus, because you do not want to loose the vision.
Think about vision in the natural sense. For example you are driving to the store and all of a sudden there is down pour of rain and you vision is impaired for a short moment and you begin to drive into the right lane and you side swipe a car, all because your vision was impaired for a moment. The same with your vision of owning your business, opening the school, going back to school, whatever it is, do not allow anything to impair your vision, causing you to side swipe your dreams. Stay focused and keep moving your dream forward.
